sbliving purchased the office block in 2013 in order to relocate our premises from Leeds centre to Central Headingley due to needing more space for our rapidly growing workforce. sbliving occupied the group and first floors which left the third floor and attic space vacant. Our architects drew various scheme designs with the final plans submitted for planning approval being 1 x 2 bed 1 bathroom flat and 1 x 2 bed 2 bathroom flat over two floors.

The design and build stage was managed by Simon and Elina Bland. Due to the large floor space of each flat it was decided that gas central heating would be provided to each unit and extra utility connections were provided to allow individual billing for each properties usage. With the Headingley property market proving popular for student and professionals seeking high specification properties it was decided to fit quality fittings throughout including designer radiators and German kitchens.

The conversion was completed from on site commencement to building regs sign off in around 8 months with both flats pre let at rents of £850 and £925 pcm. Tenant feedback has been excellent with both sets of tenants each leaving 5 star feedback on our review platform.
