The property at 30 belle Vue Street Filey was a vacant 4 bed property which had been in a state of disrepair for a number of years. The property owners appointed Simon & Elina Bland through their building company to oversee the conversion into 2 x 2 bed flats each with 1 x bathroom. sbliving was also appointed through their national management service to undertake the letting and management of the flats upon completion of refurbishment works.
Planning permission was already in place, which had been obtained in advance by the client. The project involved a steel staircase being fabricated to provide residential access, internal structural works, pointing works to various wall surfaces, sound and heat insulation to floors and walls plus a high specification finish to kitchens and bathrooms. Located in an area where rental returns are historically low cost savings were an important factor for our client. We were able to complete the conversion on time, within budget and quickly let the vacant flats upon completion of works.
